Don't forget to tune in on Sunday, April 5th @ 10am for the conclusion to our 3 part mini-series, titled "Faith in the Dark" by Pastor Daniel Butt.

Psalm 23 is arguably the best know psalm in the Bible and it's one of those passages that sits up with us during sleepless nights and uncertain circumstance. Even amongst our enemies and in the dark valley experiences of life, God's blessings can be known and our spirit revived. In this concluding study, Daniel Butt examines the goodness and mercy of God in the darkness of the valley.

Tune in on April 5th and 10am and listen at: www.peoplesmission.co.uk/multimedia-archive/

We hope you have a blessed time hearing God's Word!

April 22, 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day: "...let the earth be glad...let all the trees of the forest sing for joy..." (Psalm 96:11-12)

"...Trees are mentioned more times in the Bible than any living thing other than God and people. There is a tree on the first and last page of the Bible, and one stands by every important character and theological event in scripture.

Even if you are unfamiliar with Charles Spurgeon, Martyn Lloyd-Jones and others from the last generation who taught on the Bible’s trees, you may have encountered the fictional works of George MacDonald, J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. Their tree theology is derived from the Bible. Good guys plant and protect trees. In contrast, bad guys are clear-cutters of ancient forests..."

Excerpt from Matthew Sleeth's April 22, 2019 article in the The Washington Post, titled Earth Day.

Dear People's Mission Family,

In response to COVID-19 and Boris Johnson's latest closure and gathering restrictions, the People's Mission has postponed all services and events until further notice.

Each Sunday, we invite you to join us at 10:00am, on our website, for a pre-recorded message. Throughout the course of each week we continue to update our website, Facebook page and our Ministry team is doing their best to connect with the Mission family over the phone, keeping everyone up to date, encouraged and informed.

At this time, our building is only open for People's Mission employees and Ministry Team personnel. Our pastoral and administrative teams are working to continue to care for the needs of our congregation and community.

If you need pastoral care, please send a message via this Facebook page and someone from our team will be in touch with you. Or you can get in contact with our pastor directly by emailing him at:

daniel@peoplesmission.co.uk.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The wisdom of the psalms coupled with timeless words, simple melodies and delicate harmonies makes for beautifully relaxing music to listen to while sitting in the garden, or working around the house.

Set in a traditional/folk style this rendition Psalm 147 offers a much needed healing balm in the chaos of today. Thank you Kiran Young Wimberly for the project, Celtic Psalms.
