“To God be the Glory, great things He has done”
JESUS, family, sport,..in that order! I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Saviour in 1975 shortly before I moved up North from the Midlands. I have counted it a privilege and joy to serve Him at The People’s Mission over many years. I am married to Lorna, my very loving wife, and we have 2 grown up children: Adam our son, and daughter Carolyn married to John, and grandson Caleb. Like many people I have experienced ups and downs in life but through it all the Lord has been my strength and guide, and will continue to be in the future.

Becoming an Elder in the summer of 2015 was a massive step for me, but throughout the bible we see ordinary people being servants for Jesus. I class myself as one of those ordinary people, but with an extraordinary saviour. I’ve been a christian since the age of 13, but over the last few years, God has given me the strength to step up and work harder to glorify his name.
I’ve been married over 20 years (crikey!) with two children, Matthew and Isaac, and can say hand on heart, that God has provided for me and my family. Time to give something back to the one who has blessed us immeasurably. “Bless the Lord, O my soul”.

I recently became Church Administrator having attended the People’s Mission all my life and knowing Him as my Lord. I am married to Ian and we have two grown up children, James who is married to Laura and Katie who is married to Wesley, who also worship at the People’s Mission. I thank God everyday for his immeasurable love toward us.
We are a blessed fellowship in a great many ways, with people who love the Lord, all with different skills and abilities in abundance. It is a delight to work with such willing workers for His glory. “God has always used ordinary people to carry out His extraordinary mission. Ordinary people filled with His transforming life to be used in extraordinary ways. Ordinary people like us”.
